Hey. I am Marie Stephens, the person behind the art.
Lover of Impressionism
I started my passion for oil painting 23 years ago by attempting to recreate the iconic aesthetic of the impressionist painters.

Since then, I’ve developed my craft and worked to find my own visual voice – while still holding on to a little bit of what makes the work of impressionist painters so special.
Photographer
Part of my process involves sketching, photography, and taking videos in an effort to capture the best possible frame from which to create my art, when I don't have enough time to paint on location, (en plein air)
