A botanical collection of cyanotype prints (aka sunprints) from flowers grown in our garden here in Iowa. This process involves collecting flowers and leaves, then pressing them to lay flat on a specially treated blue paper that reacts (lightens) when exposed to sunlight. The areas covered with flowers will stay blue after being exposed to sun, but then when the paper is dipped into a water bath, those dark areas created by the flowers will turn white, and the background turns blue.
