There's just something special about an Iowa sunrise.... I believe that this piece embodies that feeling of hope and optimism that comes with the start of each new day.

The View...I love this view so much that I want collectors around the world to be able to experience it in their own homes and offices, to serve as a reminder of hope and optimism that comes with a new day. I want share this beautiful light with anyone longing for a brighter view.

THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

Sunrise on the farm in September.  There's nothing quite like those first glimpses of light as the sun peeks out over the horizon, creating a dynamic show of light and shadow, playing off clouds, dust particles, and heat waves rising from the earth.  Everything seems possible at this hour, perhaps because the amazing beauty our eyes behold seems so impossible.  I believe that this piece represents a feeling of hope and optimism that comes with the start of each new day.

This Iowa farm scene is from a real place, my husband's parents' farm. We lived there for 7 years, and to this day, I still feel like I am living inside a postcard whenever we go back to visit. 

The tranquility of this view is equally peaceful in real life. This special place is void of city sounds, yet filled with sounds like cows munching on blades of grass, a pheasant nearby, geese flying over, and even a great heron landing on a pond that is a half a mile away.  Car noise is at a minimum, but there is a super highway of birds and bees zooming on their morning commute as they begin their day.  

I am so happy to share a glimpse of this beautiful Iowa farm and the mother and calf I was fortunate enough to capture on camera, during the sunrise of our last visit in September of 2023.
