You spoke and I listened! Just wanted to let you know, I can now offer prints of the nativity window I painted at District Drugs & Compounding Center Ltd this year.

ABOUT THE ART:
Reflections.....I hope you will notice that the faces in my window nativity were purposely left as plain glass so that you are reminded that we as people can be reflections of the light that this blessed holy family has brought to the world. Up close, you will be able to see your own reflection, and hopefully, in a way, imagine yourself in their shoes during that time so long ago, and remember the true meaning of Christmas.
The Glue= The Holy Spirit????....
a newly discovered coincidence, that relates to this painting. This painting was created by mixing paint with glue(mod podge)! Little did I know when I was creating it, that the glue had significant meaning! Maybe the Holy Spirit was working through me when I made it?
Meaning? So, I am a confirmation sponsor at our church,
and last night, Pastor Sara taught about how
the power and energy (like breath)
of the Holy Spirit,
works with us,
& connects us (like glue)
& moves us (like the wind)
in tandem (all working together, not just one or the other)
with God and Jesus,
in us, and through us. (so that we may love one another and know that we are loved no matter what)
During the lesson, we talked about the origin of the words Holy Spirit, and metaphors that help explain how we think it works.
One of the metaphors...Glue! The Holy Spirit is like the glue that connects God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit, us, and our loved ones who have died, together for eternity, no matter what!
