THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

I grew up near the Mississippi River, and was out fishing on it with my Dad quite often, fighting with my brothers over who got the best fishing spot while my mom made sure we had plenty of great home made food to eat! For as long as I can remember, I would stare down into the water trying to decide "What color is the water?" I am still enamored with its changing colors. The Mississippi River's waters are like a chameleon adapting to its surroundings, ever changing, and always beautiful..
