Actor Betty White Dies at 99 on New Years Eve 2021

I grew up in a small Iowa town, Blue Grass, my husband did too…Mount Ayr. My family didn’t have cable, but we watched The Golden Girls every week!

I loved those gals and their humor about everyday life. I especially loved Rose for her positive spirit and innocent gullibility.

Little did I know, that the woman who played that small town girl was a pioneer in television and live broadcasting, producing, you name it, she could do it all!

Saddened by her passing, so close to 100 years old, I spent New Year’s Eve honoring Betty White with a documentary on her life while creating the tribute sketch below.
