Did you know May 30th is National Creativity Day?
National Creativity day was founded in 2018 by Hal Croasmun.
Read below for 5 ways to celebrate

encourage
🎨 1. Encourage someone to pursue their creative dreams by leaving them positive feedback in their social media posts

Ask 3 Questions
🎨2. Ask creatives about their craft....and go three questions deep to show them that you are genuinely interested in what they do. eg...1. What's got you inspired lately? 2. What is it about that that gets your creative juices flowing? 3. How are you exploring this?

actively listen
🎨3. Avoid telling creatives what they should make next. Instead ask them to tell you about a specific thing they have already made, and actually take time to listen to their response. Even if you don't fully understand, it's so helpful to let them know you see and hear them, and can tell that they have put a great deal of thought into their work.

reconnect
🎨4. Celebrate your own creativity by reconnecting with an arts or crafts activity that you used to love!

visit
🎨5. Visit your local art museum, local art scene, or even your favorite artist's website, even if you buy something as small as a sticker, greeting card or magnet, I can almost guarantee, you will have been the cause of an artist happy dancing in their kitchen or studio:)))
